New Hydrogen Transportation Valves Achieve ISO-19880-3 Accreditation
Oliver Hydcovalves successfully completed 102,000 cycle-tests on two 14mm bore transportation valves designed for hydrogen transportation and refuelling applications.
Accredited to ISO-19880-3 standards, this latest achievement adds to Hydcovalves’ extensive range of Instrumentation and Double Block & Bleed valves for Hydrogen medium.
Rated up to 10 ksi, valves successfully isolate process pressure in hydrogen applications thus significantly reducing fugitive emissions and maximises operational safety which is of paramount importance.
Hydcovalves solutions include; 10mm, 14mm, and 20mm bore transportation valves in 1/2″, 3/4″, or 1″ connections.
Other key features are:
Long service life in hydrogen refuelling applications
Operating in temperatures of -40°C up to +85°C in accordance to ISO 19880-3 and ISO 15848-1
Leakage testing on seat and packing using helium at maximum operating pressure
Specific metallic materials that prevent hydrogen embrittlement
Special dynamic sealing elements for low leakage and long service life
